THE COLLECTIONS

The Linen Ladder studio works out of a converted barn in the heart of the Garden of England within walking distance of Sissinghurst Castle. We are surrounded by hay meadows and woodland and have plenty of inspiration on our doorstep. We have various collections of feathers, leaves, seeds and cones that have been gathered on our walks and our travels further afield. These are sketched or painted and worked into lino cuts or block prints and are continually reworked into repeating patterns to create a final design. Our colours have been carefully curated to ensure the collections blend together beautifully.
